Overview

PrimeTime Amusements is a global operator, seller, and event renter of video arcade machines and simulators. Founded in 1992 by David Goldfarb, the company is headquartered in South Florida. PrimeTime Amusements’ customers, however, represent countries and markets around the world, including the United States, Central America, South America, Europe, and Africa. PrimeTime Amusements has four key areas of business: operations, rentals, sales, and theming (better known as Prop Creations). Prop Creations was launched in 2011 and is head by an art designer and team of sculptors with more than 40 years of combined experience. The creations or statues are primarily constructed from foam and hard-coated with paint, which ensures that the finished products are lightweight and easy to transport, yet waterproof with the ability to be kept outdoors. The Prop Creations team creates the pieces using a combination of CNC 3-D cutting machinery and hand-sculpturing, followed by hard-coating and intricate painting. Prop Creations can design, build, and create props, figures, statues, and set design for any environment at any size. Learn more at primetimeamusements.com andpropcreations.com.

All of sudden around South Florida, walls are no longer bland. They are no longer white and flat. But rather different colors and most recently – textured.

Have you seen many of the self-service yogurt shops? Their walls are about as exciting as wrapping paper. It’s become part of the marketing, part of the atmosphere, part of the way businesses are differentiating themselves…especially when everything else feels like more of the same.

Well – add doctors offices to the list. Prop Creations of South Florida was recently hired to texturize the walls of a Deerfield Beach based chiropractor. The walls will look and feel like an ancient, knobby tree or the rippled waves of a lake. We’re definitely excited to see the end results and the feedback of patients…but until then, here’s a sneak peek!

What do you think they look like? And what types of businesses do you think should try the “textured environment” concept next?

ESPN needed signage for the BCS National Championship game in Miami this week between Notre Dame and Alabama. And who did they call first?! That would be Prop Creations – by PrimeTime Amusements. Prop Creations was commissioned by ESPN to design the BCS Championship sign and then carve, hard coat and paint it before hanging it up on site at the stadium. We were then hired to create the ESPN lettering for the station’s on-site tent.

Check out Prop Creations’ work here, and be sure to watch it on the broadcast on Mondy! Then let us know your thoughts!

Good luck to both Alabama and Notre Dame this week! May the best team win!

While PrimeTime Amusements has helped to entertain the Alabama and Notre Dame football teams by providing the arcade games for their respective hotels, PrimeTime’s sister company Prop Creationssign for espn is also getting in on the action. Prop Creations, which creates foam props, statues, architecture, signs and more, has created the signage for the ESPN tent at the game.

Check out the awesome signage to the right. Carved out of styro-foam, hard-coated and painted – these signs are sure to last a life time (or well past Monday’s big game)! Prop Creations can build statues of any size and of any character, name or items.
